Las reservas del Banco Central no cambian a causa de la transacción prestataria. Pero los créditos de depósitos constituyen una nueva adición a los depósitos totales del sistema bancario. En otras palabras el monto prestado por el banco suma como dinero ficticio en su reserva monetaria el cual no tiene respaldo en dinero físico. Ahora imagine las implicancias de todo esto.
